Damp proofing your property above ground is just as important as below for obvious reasons, damp eats away on all levels and so making your home structurally sound is paramount to protect your investment.

Damp on the ground floor level from lateral penetration can cause paint to peel; wall paper can get mould, not to mention the smell which can seriously manifest practically turning some areas of your home into no go areas. Floor level kitchen cupboards are a particular target as often when kitchens are fitted without firstly ensuring the walls on to which the units are fixed are free of damp, the smell will render your cupboards unusable – unless you like all your pots and pans to smell of damp that is!
